Qualification Criteria

Choice Procedure: 
 

Korean Government Scholarship Selection Procedure
  • First Selection: Applicants present their applications either to the Korean Embassies around the globe or to the partering colleges in Korea. The international safe havens and colleges select the fruitful competitors among the candidates in the first round of choice. The candidates of the effective competitors will then be sent to NIIED
  • Second Selection: The NIIED choice board of trustees chooses the fruitful applicants among the individuals who passed the first round.
  • Third Selection: Among the fruitful hopefuls who have passed the second round, the uses of the individuals who connected through the Korean Embassies will be looked into by colleges for affirmation. Effective competitors must get affirmation from no less than one of the colleges.

Term:
  • 1 year Korean dialect course +2 year Associate degree
  • 1 year Korean dialect course + 4 year Bachelors degree
  • 1 year Korean dialect course+ 2 years of Master's degree
  • 1 year Korean dialect course + 3 years of Doctoral degree
